Hotel La Pergola

“A good hotel for few days stay in Rome. It has a good location since the metro station is close, also the supermarket is in few minutes walk which is really convenient. There are some good points and something that needs to be improved: - very friendly and kind receptionists; - beautiful garden; - good renovated bathroom; - very tasty breakfasts, especially if you are a fun of croissants - you need to try them, very fresh and tasty - the rooms could be renovated; - too dark in the room; - the cleaning could be improved (there was one piece of pasta in our room on the floor since we checked in and it wasn’t cleaned till we check out); - too noisy in the room (the walls are too thin and you can hear everything from other rooms). Anyway the stay was good, we didn’t complain about anything and there was no major issues at all. Thank you!”

“Nice hotel about 30-40 minutes away from the center (by metro). Metro station is a 10 minute walk away. Older hotel with equally old appliances but truly wonderful staff and delicious breakfast.”

“We loved our time here! The room was pleasant and cleaned every day. The breakfast was small by American standards (no eggs, etc.) but had a variety of pastries to try. The location, being a bit out of the main city, allowed us to avoid tourist traps and practice our Italian. The absolute highlight of our stay was the staff - warm, friendly, fluent in many languages, and happy to help us learn Italian!”

“The hotel's exterior, lobby and small garden are very nice and modern, but the rooms are something else. They could use some renovation, and the walls are very thin and you can hear all the neighbors' conversations but they have air conditioning. Staff is great. Very nice and customer-friendly, and the parakeet cage is a plus. Good location close to supermarkets, several restaurants and the metro station. Standard sweet breakfasts and very good quality. I recommend it for a short stay in Rome”
